Quick time to market and ease of in-house website management
were essential when Chef's changed hands from Nieman Marcus to new
ownership. Tasked with setting up new operations from the "ground
up" Chef's partnered with TELLUS to create the new website,
integrated in real-time with Commercialware, and empower in-house
staff to manage the website. A highly transactional site with heavy
peak periods, scalability, reliability, and response time were
critical.
Insight gained from strategy summits with TELLUS, competitive
analysis, and user profiling formed the foundation for the new
website structure, interactive features, and merchandising
capabilities. The Tellus Commerce Platform foundation has enabled
Chef's to successfully maintain and enhanced the site with
cost-efficiency and flexibility.
